up their usual celebration of the pig into a full-boar celebration of The Year of
the Pig.

Le Snoot’s Cheeky Chardonnay, composed of 100% 2005 California

The Year of the Pig The Chinese Lunar Calendar,
based on the cycles of the moon, contains five cycles of twelve years, totaling
to a sixty year cycle. It is legend that when Lord Buddha summoned all animals to
come to him before he departed Earth, only twelve came to bid farewell. As a reward
he named a year after each animal in the order in which they arrived. The Chinese
believe the animal ruling the year in which a person is born has an influence on
their personality, saying: “This is the animal that hides in your heart.”
